After teaching at several universities, Wright has settled into her studio in east Texas. Today her work focuses on ceramic sculpture, installation, and photographs of site-specific works. She exhibits her works nationally, has curated many ceramic-based exhibitions, and does workshops and lectures for universities, art centers, and galleries.
